HI!

This text file will help you in making a new mod which uses light rain, heavy rain, snow or blizzard.

Why did I change the method from the older and easier one to this?
To let modders control much more kind of weather. Now you can use light rain, heavy rain, snow or blizzard instead of only rain

Instructions to make a mod that uses content from Enhanced Weather - Rain and Snow:

First you have to go in Documents/My Games folder open GECKCustom.ini and look for bAllowMultipleMasterLoads=0 and change the 0 to 1

Then you will need to load in the GECK Enhanced Weather - RAin and Snow.esm as master and your mod as active file.

Create a dummy quest: in the object window, actor data, quest, right click, new; a new window will open just give it an ID name and then click on OK.

Create a script with this model:

This is an example used for the a weather with light rain, and one with heavy snow

scn weatherquest ;write instead of weatherquest an Id for this script

begin gamemode

if GetIsCurrentWeather lightrainweather == 1 ;write instead of lightrainweather the Id of your weather
set islightraining to 1 ;NOTE: this is not a real command, it is a global I transformed in a fake command with scripts.
	set isheavyraining to 0
	set islightsnowing to 0
	set isheavysnowing to 0
elseif GetIsCurrentWeather heavysnowweather == 1 ;write instead of heavysnowweathe the Id of your other weather
set isheavysnowing to 1 ;NOTE: this is as the previous a fake command
	set isheavyraining to 0
	set islightsnowing to 0
	set islightraining to 0
else
set islightraining to 0 ;if there isn't any weather which uses rain or rain reset all globals
	set isheavyraining to 0
	set islightsnowing to 0
	set isheavysnowing to 0
endif

end

Open the weather box and change your weather type to rain or snow, then press always in the weather window, click on the precipitaion button, then you will ses new options,
under precipitation set Begin fade in to 0.2 if it's a heavy rainy weather and 0.5 if it's of an another kind, and End fade out to 0.8 if it's heav rainy and 0.5 if it isn't.

Now you have to open the window of the quest you created, drop the scroll called script and look for the script previously made and
check the "start game enabled" box, then you need to press ok and you finished.

(Optional) If you want to use sounds from my mod, you will find them under miscellaneous/sound they start withh 00 so they should be first in the list.
To add them go to the weather window, you will find a sound section drag them from miscellaneous/sound menu to the sound section in the weather window and double click to change the function (precipitation, thunders or wind)

Save the plugin.
Now you have your plugin made, that's all!
